When We arrive

The first thing that will happen is introductions. We will discuss where the interview will take place find the most optimal spot for the setup of our equipment and where you are comfortable. We are happy to take some footage of the space that can be used in the film that highlight where you live. Setup will take around 30 minutes. We film with 2 cameras on tripods and either two lights or one light and a reflector. We use a wireless lavalier microphone that attaches unobtrusively to your clothing. Most people don’t understand how critical sound is to the process and it’s why we are so meticulous about it. Once we have everything set up we will have you seated so that we can make final lighting adjustments and check the audio signal.

Photo Prep

Please have all your digital photos gathered into a single folder on your computer desktop or tablet before I arrive. I will bring a portable media drive to copy them directly while I set up the equipment—no uploading required!
The number of photos is indicated in each price package. Actual photos can be scanned on site too.

Revision Passes

Each film includes a set number of revision passes. A revision pass is one round of requested changes sent together. Revision passes cover refinements such as trimming sections, adjusting audio, swapping photos, or fixing factual details (names, dates, captions).

Larger changes that alter the structure or direction of the film may fall outside the included passes. If that happens, I’ll let you know before any additional costs apply.
